The Government of the British Virgin Islands has announced that their borders will remain closed to visitors until the beginning of September 2020.  Three cases of Covid-19 were reported over the past few weeks and all of these people have recovered.  No new cases have been reported.

This is largely due to the quick action of the BVI Government earlier this year, as soon as it became apparent that this virus could pose a serious threat.  They banned all cruise ships and cancelled all the sailing regattas.  These actions undoubtedly saved many people from serious illness.

The BVI will of course be welcoming visitors as soon as their Government deem it safe to do so.
