There is plenty to do on Virgin Gorda and Mango Bay provide free snorkel gear and glass bottom kayaks so you can take to the water and go exploring.
Mango Bay is about 15 minutes drive from the famous “Baths” where you can go snorkelling and swim around to Devil’s Bay – another stunning white sand beach on beautiful Virgin Gorda.
The Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour is a short drive away and from here you can book a day excursion to neighbouring islands with Captain Dave at Double D Charters, or a diving or snorkelling trip with Dive BVI.
If you wish to go sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddle boarding, fly boarding, take out a Hobie Cat or rent a powerboat, Blue Rush Water Sports at Leverick Bay provides all of this and is a 10 minute drive. Of course you can just go for a swim from the beautiful beach at Mango Bay or “bob” around on one of the floating mattresses thoughtfully provided for their guests.
Virgin Gorda has lots to offer hikers and walking enthusiasts with nearby nature trails winding through the colourful foliage and Gorda Peak is definitely worth the climb – the views from the top are stunning. There’s plenty to get involved with, but Virgin Gorda is also a great place to do absolutely nothing at all with lots of wonderful beaches to choose from.
The Nail Bay Sports Club on Virgin Gorda is about 5 minutes drive from Mango Bay and here you can play tennis, squash, table tennis, work out in the gym and swim in the pool. Finish with lunch at the Sugarcane Restaurant before heading back to Mango Bay for a lazy afternoon on the beach.
