Moskito Island offers a one-of-a-kind hospitality experience in a secluded and private Caribbean setting in the British Virgin Islands. Enjoy the privacy of your own estate or socialise with fellow guests on shared parts of the island.

Moskito Island in the British Virgin Islands consists of four separate estates.  These are The Branson Estate (which was the first one built), The Point Estate, the Oasis Estate and The Village.

The four estates on Moskito Island are offered on an all inclusive basis – gastronomic meals and all drinks are included plus a range of healthy snacks and fruit are provided in your villa’s fridge and replenished daily. Meals are prepared especially for you in your own villa.

Food is the highlight of your stay on Moskito Island, think fresh and full of flavour. Every element of your stay can be personalised, and that includes tailor-made menus to suit any special dietary needs or preferences. Before you even set foot on island the resident private chef at your estate will be on hand to plan the most mouth-watering menus. Dining can be at your own estate either indoors or outdoors, on the beach or in several dining pavilions around the island.

The Village

Set on a clifftop on the far west of the island with unrivalled sunset ocean views, The Village is the ultimate social hub for the young-at-heart. Sleeping up to 18 guests in seven spacious standalone guest houses and two rooms in the Main Pavilion, this estate truly comes to life at night. The Branson Estate

The Branson Estate – Perched on a dramatic outcrop at the northeast tip of Moskito Island is The Branson Estate. Made up of three spectacular standalone villas and conveniently located next to the island’s communal recreational facilities, it sleeps a total of 22 guests. The guest rooms boast breath-taking private beach or sea views. Each elevated villa has an immense Master Suite and further guest rooms, most of which are standalone and connected by wooden walkways. Complete with a private terrace and loungers and en-suite bathrooms, some rooms also have outdoor showers and baths – seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. This estate even has its own private beach – the epitome of barefoot luxury living.

The Point Estate

Perfectly nestled cliffside and boasting exclusive access to the island’s beach, The Point Estate on Moskito Island is one of the most impressive private retreats in the Caribbean. Sleeping up to 14 adults and eight children, in free-standing guest houses, an open communal hub sits at the heart of the estate surrounded by a jaw-dropping infinity pool with underwater lights.

The Oasis Estate

Situated at the very peak of Moskito Island with broad-sweeping island vistas, The Oasis Estate is the sleekest of contemporary hideaways with breath-taking 360-degree views of the neighbouring British Virgin Islands. Sleeping up to 18 guests with ample social space, an immense wraparound infinity pool with swim-up bar connects Poolside Pods to the striking four-storey main house. Floor-to-ceiling windows and doors seamlessly blend the indoors with the outdoors and allows natural light from every angle.

The Master Suite in The Oasis Estate is a real showstopper, complete with retracting glass walls, 270-degree views, a spacious living area and a stunning outdoor bath and shower looking out to sea. The vast wraparound private deck is adorned with loungers, a dining table and seating areas – perfect for soaking up the unspoiled views. Tucked away behind the super king-size bed you’ll find the bathroom, vanity area, walk-in wardrobe, desk, and kitchenette.

The five rooms in the main house at The Oasis Estate are mirror images of each other – every bedroom looks out over the crystal clear sea towards Virgin Gorda. All rooms have a private deck with loungers, an en-suite bathroom (some have outdoor showers), a separate living area and a small kitchenette.

Just a short walk from the main house of The Oasis Estate sits three secluded poolside pods, surrounded by decking that leads directly into the pool. These rooms are privacy personified with spacious bathrooms, outdoor showers, a separate living area and small kitchenette

Travelling to the BVI

Travelling from the UK to the British Virgin Islands

The most direct way is from Gatwick to Antigua with British Airways and onwards to Tortola with inter-Caribbean Airways, which is also a non-stop flight. Virgin Atlantic fly from Heathrow to Antigua and the onward flight is with inter-Caribbean Airways to Tortola. Alternatively, BVI Holidays can charter a private aircraft just for you and your party. You will be met when you disembark your transatlantic flight and fast-tracked through immigration and customs and taken to your waiting aircraft.

Travelling from Scotland

Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow can also be arranged to connect with the Gatwick and Heathrow flights on certain days. Flights from regional airports can be arranged through Paris or Amsterdam to St Maarten and onwards to the BVI.

Travelling from New York, Boston or Miami

If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. The onward flight is via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged.

There are no direct flights to the BVI which is why the islands remain unspoilt, uncrowded and uncommercialised. From the summer of 2023, there will be a flight from Miami direct to Tortola.
