Accommodation

Blue Waters Resort offers Deluxe Beachfront rooms with spectacular sea views and just a short stroll from the sand. The rooms feature en-suite bathrooms and either a king bed or twin beds making them ideal for 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child aged 12 years or under. These rooms also inter-connect so they are perfect for families.

The Cove Suites at Blue Waters are set slightly apart from the main resort area and are exceptional. These suites have king beds and can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 children.

The 3-bedroom Penthouse Suites at the Cove boast expansive balconies with panoramic ocean views and space to sleep up to 10 guests. They also have well-equipped kitchens if you prefer to cook or have a chef to cook for you.

All rooms at Blue Waters Resort provide bathrobes and slippers, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen TV, free wi-fi and other nice little touches to make your stay extra special.

Dining

Blue Waters Resort has 3 excellent restaurants – The Cove, The Reef and The Palm all offering varied and delicious cuisine and all with stunning views. The Reef Restaurant also offers a lunch-time pool and beachside service. If you have any dietary requirements, just let the culinary team know and they will ensure that you are catered for.

Blue Waters Resort has an excellent spa offering a variety of treatments including massage, scrubs, facials etc..

Blue Waters welcomes children and has a great kids’ club for 5–12-year-olds with a secret garden and lots of activities for the children to take part in

Children will be supervised by fully trained staff and will enjoy a wealth of activities from arts & crafts, sports, and seasonal activities, including fishing, limbo dancing, cricket & educational activities.

During school holidays, the Kids’ Club at Blue Waters Resort holds pizza and movie nights on selected evenings from 6pm – 9pm.

Children can enjoy the shaded Secret Garden with gazebos, outdoor toys, and friendly tortoises to feed.

Blue Waters Resort also provides a baby-sitting service so parents can enjoy a romantic evening together.

Older children need not miss out, for children aged 12 and above there is a games room situated just above the kids’ club. Featuring a pool table, table tennis, football table, board games, card games and TV, there will be plenty to keep them occupied throughout the day or evening time.

Blue Waters Resort really does have something for everyone and is a great choice for your stay on Antigua.

Activities

Blue Waters Resort provides a variety of water sports including snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking and Hobie cats. If you are new to water sports, the instructors at Blue Waters will be happy to offer instruction for an additional fee.

There are no motorised water sports at Blue Waters such as water skiing or jet skiing, but these can be arranged on request.

Blue Waters has a great fitness centre offering state of the art equipment – treadmills, cross trainers, steppers, free weights etc. There are also regular yoga classes, tennis lessons and cardio sessions offered to guests.

Blue Waters Resort has tennis and Pickleball courts for the enjoyment of their guests.

Get active at the Blue Waters fitness centre, with state-of-the-art Cybex treadmills, bikes, elliptical trainers, power mill steppers and cross trainers. Free-weights and kettlebells are also available, and their regular yoga classes, tennis lessons and cardio sessions are the perfect way to realign while meeting new friends.

Blue Waters Resort has several pools, including adults only and 17 tranquil acres of mature tropical gardens. There are three secluded beach coves, so you can always find a relaxing spot.

Travelling to the BVI

Travelling from the UK to the British Virgin Islands

The most direct way is from Gatwick to Antigua with British Airways and onwards to Tortola with inter-Caribbean Airways, which is also a non-stop flight. Virgin Atlantic fly from Heathrow to Antigua and the onward flight is with inter-Caribbean Airways to Tortola. Alternatively, BVI Holidays can charter a private aircraft just for you and your party. You will be met when you disembark your transatlantic flight and fast-tracked through immigration and customs and taken to your waiting aircraft.

Travelling from Scotland

Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow can also be arranged to connect with the Gatwick and Heathrow flights on certain days. Flights from regional airports can be arranged through Paris or Amsterdam to St Maarten and onwards to the BVI.

Travelling from New York, Boston or Miami

If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. The onward flight is via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged.

There are no direct flights to the BVI which is why the islands remain unspoilt, uncrowded and uncommercialised. From the summer of 2023, there will be a flight from Miami direct to Tortola.
