Allamanda Villa could not be better placed for exploring all the BVI has to offer. The villa is just 2 minutes’ drive from Long Bay beach on Beef Island. Here you’ll find a crescent of pure white sand, fringed with palm trees.
Trellis Bay, also on Beef Island, is a popular anchorage for yachts. With the bustling Cyber Cafe and full moon party, this area has a real buzzy atmosphere. There are several interesting little shops and coffee stops and a visit to Aragorn’s Studio and art gallery is a must.
Take a day trip to Virgin Gorda or Anegada, you can do this from Beef Island, or a day sail including lunch and snorkel stops to some of the other unspoilt islands in the beautiful BVI. The BVI offers some of the best diving worldwide and this can easily be arranged with Blue Water Drivers located at Nanny Cay on Tortola. The capital of the British Virgin Islands – Road Town is only 20 minutes’ drive from Beef Island and there, you can enjoy some local shopping, take the ferry to Virgin Gorda or choose from the many restaurants and bustling cafes.
A visit to the Callwood Rum Distillery at Cane Garden Bay is a must and you cannot miss soaring high over Tortola on an Original Virgin Canopy Tour – it’s similar to zip-lining and run by professionals. The views are breath-taking. The Botanical Gardens and a trek up Sage Mountain are also worth doing when staying at Allamanda Villa. So many varied and interesting things for you to do in the BVI.
