Availability Request Enquiry Form 01279 871188A Bigger Splash is a beautiful, multi-level 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom villa with a large private pool near the famous Baths on unspoiled Virgin Gorda. Enjoy breezes and spectacular views from the open verandas, air-conditioned bedrooms, spacious pool deck, and fabulous look-out tower. The property is minutes away from beaches, shopping, and dining.
The entire villa includes the main house and cottage, accommodating up to ten guests with four private bedrooms/baths, including two outdoor showers. There are many outdoor and indoor spaces to lounge, dine, and entertain.
The main house at A Bigger Splash accommodates the first 6-8 guests. Accessed via stairways, it includes two distinct levels and a look-out tower with amazing views. The main house boasts an airy great room and dining area with wide doors and balconies on three sides allowing in cool island breezes. The kitchen is fully-equipped. Three air-conditioned bedrooms with 3.5 baths complete the space.
The light-filled master suite has a king size bed, an outdoor shower, and kitchenette and dining/lounging areas. It is located pool-side and has a separate entrance.
Located on the upper level, a second bedroom has a queen bed with a private outdoor shower, adjacent to a veranda with seating. The third bedroom has two double beds and spectacular island views.
The Cottage at A Bigger Splash is accessed separately from the main house, accommodating 2-4 guests. A space for guests needing additional room and privacy, it includes one bedroom with queen bed (with air-conditioning), one bathroom, and comfortable queen sofa bed with tempurpedic mattress. The Cottage also has a full kitchen, dining/living areas, and balcony.
The Cottage is not rented separately from the main house.
A Bigger Splash is a few minutes’ drive from Virgin Gorda’s many bars and restaurants. The Top of the Baths, which also has a pool, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and amazing views, while Mad Dog is quirky and unusual.
Coco Maya serves tapas and you can sip a cocktail around the fire-pit on the sand.
For that extra special romantic meal, Rosewood Little Dix Bay is around 5 minutes’ drive from A Bigger Splash. You can rent a jeep through BVI Holidays, or taxis on Virgin Gorda are reliable and plentiful.
A Bigger Splash is well located on Virgin Gorda, being only a few minutes away from the famous Baths and Devil’s Bay.
A short drive will take you to the Yacht Harbour where you can book diving or a snorkel trip with Dive BVI and do some shopping at Arawak gift shop.
A Bigger Splash is also a short drive from the ferry dock where you can catch the ferry to Tortola or Anegada and spend the day on another of the British Virgin Islands.
Approximately 20 minutes drive away is Leverick Bay where you will find an abundance of water sports from kayaking and fly-boarding to sailing and jet-skiing. You can also rent a Bradley for the day.

A Bigger Splash has an unusually shaped swimming pool set within tropical gardens and plenty of sunbathing terraces. In the evening or at lunch-time, you can throw a steak or some prawns on the gas barbecue and enjoy an al fresco meal.
The Lookout Tower with it’s spectacular views is a great place to congregate for pre-dinner cocktails or take your favourite book up there mid-afternoon and enjoy a bit of “you” time.
To name but a few amenities, A Bigger Splash offers bluetooth speakers, coffee machine, dishwasher, filtered water, gas barbecue, ice maker, free wi-fi, toiletries, TV with Netflix. There are also games and books for guests’ enjoyment.
The most direct way is from Gatwick to Antigua with British Airways and onwards to Tortola with inter-Caribbean Airways, which is also a non-stop flight. Virgin Atlantic fly from Heathrow to Antigua and the onward flight is with inter-Caribbean Airways to Tortola. Alternatively, BVI Holidays can charter a private aircraft just for you and your party. You will be met when you disembark your transatlantic flight and fast-tracked through immigration and customs and taken to your waiting aircraft.
Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow can also be arranged to connect with the Gatwick and Heathrow flights on certain days. Flights from regional airports can be arranged through Paris or Amsterdam to St Maarten and onwards to the BVI.
If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. The onward flight is via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged.
There are no direct flights to the BVI which is why the islands remain unspoilt, uncrowded and uncommercialised. From the summer of 2023, there will be a flight from Miami direct to Tortola.
