Dining

At Baraka Point they believe that their guests’ main priority is to relax and enjoy themselves. After a long day at the beach, cooking for a large group takes time and effort. So to make sure you spend your holiday having fun, Baraka Point’s private chef does all the cooking while their dedicated service team brings fine dining right to your table. Have your breakfast seaside, lunch on the beach, and enjoy dinner under the stars.

Baraka Point’s chef is happy to cook to your specifications, he can suggest a daily menu, or surprise you. Choose from family-style dishes, multi-course gourmet tasting menus or tapas platters. Chef fuses flavours and styles of cuisine to create an exciting variety of dishes throughout your stay. Be sure to have a Baraka Point Pizza Night, it’s a big hit with all their guests! All the food at Baraka Point is homemade daily including breads, cookies, ice creams and sorbets from their Italian gelato machine which makes great treats to cool off with around the pool.

The services of the chef and his team are included – groceries are chargeable.

If you can bear to tear yourself away from Baraka Point and the excellent cuisine, there are many lovely restaurants on Virgin Gorda for you to sample. The Sugarcane Restaurant at Nail Bay is a few minutes walk. You may wish to visit Coco Maya with their fire pit on the beach or Rosewood Little Dix Bay’s romantic Sugar Mill restaurant. Hog Heaven on Virgin Gorda is a short drive and the views are spectacular.

Spa and Wellness at Baraka Point

Baraka Point has its own Spa and a wooden bridge over a Japanese Koi pond leads you to an Asian-inspired secret garden where you will find Baraka Point’s Balinese hand-crafted Spa & Wellness Pavilion with spectacular ocean views.

Spa treatments in this space are a multi-sensory experience supported by the sights and sounds of nature. Ginger heliconia bloom at the Pavilion’s edge and the scent of jasmine hangs in the air. A waterfall rushes over smooth stones to calm the mind while palm fronds rustle on balmy breezes cooling your skin. This is a space in which to truly get away from it all and re-discover your senses.

Baraka Point’s Spa & Wellness Pavilion is for the exclusive use of their guests which only adds to your sense of relaxation…

Wellness Weeks & Spa Breaks are also available at Baraka Point. Please contact BVI Holidays for more details.

Virgin Atlantic fly from Heathrow to Antigua and the onward flight is with inter-Caribbean Airways to Tortola. Alternatively, BVI Holidays can charter a private aircraft just for you and your party. You will be met when you disembark your transatlantic flight and fast-tracked through immigration and customs and taken to your waiting aircraft.

Travelling from Scotland

Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow can also be arranged to connect with the Gatwick and Heathrow flights on certain days. Flights from regional airports can be arranged through Paris or Amsterdam to St Maarten and onwards to the BVI.

Travelling from New York, Boston or Miami

If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. The onward flight is via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged.
