Should you wish to rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, contact Blue Rush Water Sports at Leverick Bay on Virgin Gorda. They will be pleased to deliver to Beachcomber Villa in advance of your arrival.
Dive BVI is located at the Yacht Harbour on Virgin Gorda. Diving in the BVI is second to none and if you can’t dive but want to learn, the excellent instructors at Dive BVI will be happy to teach you. The Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour is about 10 minutes’ drive from Beachcomber Villa.
At Blue Rush Water Sports, you can try your hand at Fly-Boarding, small boat sailing or rent a power boat.
If you would like to have a day out on the water and visit a few of the neighbouring British Virgin Islands, call Captain Dave at Double D Charters and he will take you to the best spots for snorkelling and perhaps lunch on Cooper Island where you can sample beer from the Cooper Island brewery and rum from their distillery. Captain Dave operates out of the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour.
The tennis courts at Mahoe Bay are only a few minutes stroll from Beachcomber and are free to use. Racquets and balls are provided, or you are welcome to bring your own.
The Nail Bay Sports Club is a few minutes drive from Beachcomber Villa and here you can play squash, tennis, table tennis and work out in their air-conditioned gym. Cool off with a dip in their swimming pool afterwards.
Gorda Peak is a designated National Park and hikers will be rewarded with stunning views at the top.
If you would like to take a day trip to Tortola or Anegada, this can easily be done. Ferries operate regularly and the ferry dock on Virgin Gorda is around 10 minutes’ drive from Beachcomber Villa.
