Coconut Grove Villa

The Great Room at Coconut Grove features vaulted ceilings and includes a well-appointed chef’s kitchen with centre island and an indoor dining area. The views are spectacular.

The top floor of this two-level villa is wheelchair friendly and offers three stylishly decorated bedrooms with wicker and antique touches. A spiral staircase leads to the ground floor where there are two additional bedrooms. Each of the five suites are equal in size and provide a king bed, en-suite bathroom, and private balcony.

Coconut Grove’s outdoor space has a beautiful Oklahoma stone sun deck and large fresh-water pool within the tropical gardens. There are plenty of loungers and ample room to stretch out in the sun or find a comfortable spot in the shade to read a book, catch a nap, or play a game of billiards. Coconut Grove has a hot tub where you can sip your favourite cocktail and enjoy the stunning views of the neighbouring British Virgin Islands. An alfresco wet bar, barbeque, outdoor dining area, and cooling ceiling fans make the space excellent for entertaining.

Coconut Grove Villa is close to Blue Rush water sports at Leverick Bay on Virgin Gorda where you can enjoy all sorts of activities – Flyboarding, e-foiling, kayaking, dinghy sailing etc..

Coconut Grove is also a short drive to where you can commence hiking to Gorda Peak, and once at the top, enjoy the spectacular views of the BVI.

Coconut Grove Villa is close to the centre at Leverick Bay Resort and Marina where you can have a casual lunch at The Cove, and dinner at The Restaurant at Leverick Bay. The Chef’s Pantry at Leverick Bay, which is a few minutes from Coconut Grove Villa, offers a great selection of meats, cheeses, wines and freshly baked bread and pastries.

Every Friday between November and July, Leverick Bay hold a fun barbecue evening with Moko Jumbies. Everyone should experience this!

There is a good choice of restaurants on Virgin Gorda, within a short drive of Coconut Grove Villa or you can have a chef come in and cook for you.

Travelling from the UK to the British Virgin Islands

The most direct way is from Gatwick to Antigua with British Airways and onwards to Tortola with inter-Caribbean Airways, which is also a non-stop flight. Virgin Atlantic fly from Heathrow to Antigua and the onward flight is with inter-Caribbean Airways to Tortola. Alternatively, BVI Holidays can charter a private aircraft just for you and your party. You will be met when you disembark your transatlantic flight and fast-tracked through immigration and customs and taken to your waiting aircraft.

Travelling from Scotland

Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow can also be arranged to connect with the Gatwick and Heathrow flights on certain days. Flights from regional airports can be arranged through Paris or Amsterdam to St Maarten and onwards to the BVI.

Travelling from New York, Boston or Miami

If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. The onward flight is via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged.

There are no direct flights to the BVI which is why the islands remain unspoilt, uncrowded and uncommercialised. From the summer of 2023, there will be a flight from Miami direct to Tortola.
