Sunset Watch Villa on Virgin Gorda has a large sundeck and pool set within a lush tropical garden. Expansive views of the Sir Francis Drake Channel can be enjoyed from the dining room, living room, kitchen, bedroom and even from the indoor spa shower. Amenities include a gourmet equipped kitchen, full bathroom and jacuzzi tub, outdoor shower, high-speed internet & TV, colour printer/copier/fax, and access to laundry. If 1 Paradise Lane is rented, the pool is shared with guests from that villa.

Included with your stay at Sunset Watch Villa are ocean kayaks, snorkel gear, and other water toys to make your stay more enjoyable.
Sunset Watch Villa offers a gourmet equipped kitchen but if you don’t feel like cooking, a private chef can be arranged. You can eat on the beach, by the pool or on the rooftop deck.

Sunset Watch Villa is within easy reach of bars and restaurants on Virgin Gorda. The Sugarcane Restaurant with swim up pool bar is a few minutes walk and other restaurants e.g. Coco Maya with firepit on the beach, Hog Heaven with its amazing views of the BVI, The Cove at Leverick Bay offering entertainment on selected evenings and others are all a short drive away.

Guests at Sunset Watch Villa can enjoy free membership at the Nail Bay Sports Club for the duration of their stay. Here you can play squash, tennis, table tennis or work out in the air-conditioned gym.

You can catch a ferry to Tortola and Anegada and enjoy a fabulous day out on one of the other British Virgin Islands.

The snorkelling is excellent around Virgin Gorda and especially only steps away from Sunset Watch. If you are a certified diver or want to learn to dive, visit Dive BVI located at the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour and around 10 minutes’ drive from Sunset Watch Villa. They will be happy to book you in. Dive BVI also offer snorkelling trips and day excursions to other islands in the beautiful BVI. There is no doubt – the magic of the BVI is found on the water.

The world famous Baths and Devil’s Bay are a short drive from Sunset Watch Villa.

Travelling from the UK to the British Virgin Islands

The most direct way is from Gatwick to Antigua with British Airways and onwards to Tortola with inter-Caribbean Airways, which is also a non-stop flight. Virgin Atlantic fly from Heathrow to Antigua and the onward flight is with inter-Caribbean Airways to Tortola. Alternatively, BVI Holidays can charter a private aircraft just for you and your party. You will be met when you disembark your transatlantic flight and fast-tracked through immigration and customs and taken to your waiting aircraft.

Travelling from Scotland

Flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow can also be arranged to connect with the Gatwick and Heathrow flights on certain days. Flights from regional airports can be arranged through Paris or Amsterdam to St Maarten and onwards to the BVI.

Travelling from New York, Boston or Miami

If you would like to have a few nights in New York, Boston or Miami before heading to BVI, this can also be arranged. The onward flight is via Puerto Rico which is a 35 minute hop over to the British Virgin Islands or again, a private charter can be arranged.

There are no direct flights to the BVI which is why the islands remain unspoilt, uncrowded and uncommercialised. From the summer of 2023, there will be a flight from Miami direct to Tortola.
